The Story of Cove
Cove's harbour was built in the early nineteenth century for a fishing fleet that once numbered dozens of boats, and it is still reached today through a long tunnel hand-cut into the sandstone cliff — one of the more memorable approaches to any harbour in Scotland. The handful of cottages above the harbour housed fishing families for generations.
